Important Notes
You must have the following to use Inference for R:
- An installed copy of Microsoft Office 2003 Professional or Office 2007 (any edition); Word and Excel must be installed
- An installed copy of R, version 2.2 or later
- Installed R packages XML and StatDataML
- A working Internet connection
The free trial of Inference for R contains the full product suite, including:
- Inference in Excel
- Inference in Word
- Inference Studio
- Inference dfExplorer
- Inference Utilities
Additional Notes:
- The 120-day trial period will start at the time of installation. The free trial of Inference for R can only be installed once on a computer.
- Inference for R uses your current installation of R. There is no need for a separate installation of the R software.
- Installing Inference for R will NOT change any aspect of your current installation of R.
- Inference for R is compatible and has been extensively tested with versions 2.2 to 2.7 of R.
