Important Notes
You must have the following to use Inference for R:
- An installed copy of Microsoft Office 2003 (Professional edition only) or Microsoft Office 2007 (any edition).
- An installed copy of R, version 2.2 to 2.9. The 32-bit free version of REvoution R (version 1.3.0) is also supported, but support for REvolution R Enterprise (version 2.0.0) 32/64-bit is currently not yet available.
- A 32/64-bit Windows operating system.
- A working Internet connection.

The free trial of Inference for R contains the full Inference product suite, including: Inference in Excel, Inference in Word, Inference in PowerPoint, Inference Studio, and Inference Utilities. The current release of Inference for R is version 3.5.1.2050, released on June 30, 2009.
Additional Notes:
- Before installing this version of Inference for R, please uninstall any previous versions of Inference.
- The 30-day trial period will start at the time of installation. The free trial of Inference for R can only be installed once on a computer.
- Inference for R uses your current installation of R. There is no need for a separate installation of the R software.
- Installing Inference for R will NOT change any aspect of your current installation of R.
- Inference for R is compatible and has been extensively tested with versions 2.2 to 2.9 of R.
